Genesis GV90: A New Vision for the All-Electric Luxury SUV
The Genesis GV90 opens a new chapter for the brand. As the first full-size all-electric SUV at the top of the Genesis lineup, it was designed to make every journey a distinctive experience. Its approach to luxury focuses on space, serenity and thoughtful comfort for every passenger.
Design inspired by Korean elegance
The GV90 draws inspiration from the moon jar, a traditional Korean vessel known for its simple lines and balanced curves. That inspiration comes through in a commanding yet understated silhouette, where every detail contributes to a refined look.
Genesis has introduced the GV90, GV90 Neolun and GV90 Neolun First Edition. The standard GV90 emphasizes the versatility of three rows of seating, while the Neolun models offer an even more exclusive experience.
An entrance that transforms the cabin experience
On the GV90 Neolun, rear-hinged coach doors create a dramatic, open entryway. Called the Neolun Arch Gate, the system integrates the centre pillar into the door structure to create more room when entering and exiting the vehicle.
In the Neolun, the front seats can swivel while the vehicle is parked, turning toward the rear passengers. The four-seat Executive Suite configuration can include a refrigerator, integrated tables and a heated wood floor.
Comfort and quiet at the heart of every journey
The GV90 was designed as a space to relax and unwind. Genesis has announced a multi-chamber air suspension, rear-wheel steering and a cabin engineered to reduce noise and vibration. Announced features also include massage seats and a 25-speaker Bang & Olufsen Premier 3D sound system.
Technology follows the same thoughtful approach. The central OLED display measures 23.6 inches while driving and can expand to 24.6 inches when the vehicle is parked. The GV90 also features the Pleos Connect multimedia platform and a 25-inch head-up display.
All-electric performance
The GV90 is fully electric. Genesis has announced a 123.5-kWh battery and an estimated range of approximately 500 km for the seven-seat version, based on the company’s internal testing. Using a 350-kW fast charger, charging from 10% to 80% is estimated to take 22 minutes. Actual range may vary depending on driving conditions, and final Canadian specifications remain to be confirmed.
